We stopped here for a couple of lunches due to the cheap offers on the blackboards outside.



Being lunchtime, I didn't want a massive great portion of food, so home made Steak Pie, Chips and Gravy sounded good to me.



Sorry but I couldn't wait and I had to start eating it while Jan fiddled about in her handbag for the camera

Jan had the €4.50 Rump steak offer



which was never going to be the best steak you'd ever had, but was easily worth €4.50.

€13 for the above washed down with two pints... excellent value in my book.

For many years we went to the White Horse, its a great place to sit and people watch ,all the youngings going to the strip, but Im sad to say that the beers went horrible for about 3 years in a row ,we popped in and it was like pee wata. They lost really good customers as we had been going there for about 10 years often sitting outside and supping. My daughter drags me away from the place she would never go back in lol, the pop is out of a 2 litre plastic bottle and is always flat. Infact we nick named it the shite horse now lol, the daughter does not swear and calls it the litty horse hahaha
